Judging from the big mirror, barbers chair and checkered floor, the “Brillantine-Machine” would at first glance appear to be a pop-up barbershop. The customer is given an apron to wear and is unaware of what will follow, until they are given a pair of skiing goggles. The machine is then powered up, and the victim experiences some strong headwind. Their hair is being blown into strange and silly shapes, while simultaneously being misted with a hairspray that freezes the shape. The result is a fresh, windblown feeling, and a gorgeous stormy hairdo.
